This easy snack is transformable to use for any holiday! All you need is 3 things:
- Pretzels (square pretzels work nicely!)
- Chocolate
- Small candies (more chocolate is always a good idea!)
So here's what you do!....
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place the pretzels on the lining and top them with your choice of chocolate. Add some variety depending on the holiday! For Christmas, you could use peppermint flavored chocolate! My go-to is almost always dark chocolate.
- Bake for about 6 minutes until the chocolate is shiny and soft, but not melting- they should keep their shape.
- Carefully place your candies in the center of your chocolate and press it down to spread the chocolate onto the pretzel. Have fun with your candy color choices! For St. Patrick's Day, I went with green and yellow! For Christmas, you can use green and red. For Valentine's Day, you can use pink and red. So many options!
- Allow the pretzels to cool completely. If you need to serve them immediately, let them sit in the fridge for a few minutes and you will be good to go. Enjoy!!
